Kasumi is a single-cultivar Okumidori matcha made from first-harvest leaves grown in Yame, Fukuoka.
On the first sip, a clear, savoury-sweet umami comes through, smooth and calm. Soon after, a gentle nuttiness fills the body, with hints of chestnut and fresh cream. Bitterness is slight and pleasant, with no astringency, leaving a soft, rounded mouthfeel that’s easy to return to.
Named Kasumi (霞), meaning mist, it reflects how the flavours unfold - never sharp or rushed, but slowly revealing themselves and lingering quietly, long after the last sip.

Our matcha is freshly sealed in a foil pouch in Yame, then tucked into our paper box before it reaches you. The pouch keeps the matcha fresh, while the box adds a gentle and tactile experience when opening your order.
It is designed to refill a tin you already love - or maybe one of ours: seamless, soft-edged, and crafted to last through many seasons.
We don't believe in endless containers - just the right one, used well. This is our small quiet step toward a slower, less wasteful way to enjoy matcha.
