Chikusendo (竹泉堂) is a chasen atelier with generations of bamboo craft behind it. Each whisk leaves their workshop shaped entirely by hand — a practice that takes years to master and produces a tool that performs from the very first use.

This chasen was chosen because we believe the right whisk shouldn't be out of reach. Sourced with the same care we give everything in our lineup, and assessed by our Japanese chasen team before it reaches you — it's a considered everyday tool, not an afterthought.
Care tips
Bloom your chasen in warm water before each use. After whisking, rinse the tines under the tap or in a bowl of clean water. Avoid soap — it damages the bamboo. Always air dry upright or on a kusenaoshi to maintain the shape of the tines.
